General description of Navaseal bolt seals: |
||
| The Navaseal line of bolt seals is a comprehensive line of bolt seals rated as High Security seals as per ISO 17712 (with the sole exception of the Navaseal B-01 which is rated as a Security seal) for standard application on containers, trucks and other suitable applications. The locking mechanism of these seals is of unique, original and patented design, not found on any other make of bolt seals. It consists of a steel locking spring of intricate claw like shape which is located inside of an all steel locking bush. The claw like locking spring engages into a circumferential groove machined in the locking pin, gripping and securing it firmly. All the elements of the locking mechanism are made of steel, providing ultimate strength and hindering tampering before as well as after the seal’s application. The locking bush and locking pin are coated by ABS plastic (with the sole exception of the Navaseal B-05 pin). Tampering with Navaseal seals is virtually impossible for intruders and also deters insider collaboration in cargo theft and/or other wrongdoing. | ||
